Fall 2025 Program Details
The Professional Fellows Program (PFP) Fall 2025 offers mid-level emerging leaders from Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon Morocco, and Tunisia a fully funded, 5.5-week immersive exchange in the United States. Fellows sharpen their leadership and professional skills, build lasting partnerships, and foster mutual understanding across cultures.
The program begins with one week of dynamic team building and professional training in Washington, D.C., followed by a four-week tailored fellowship placement in Austin, Detroit, Pittsburgh or Washington DC — giving participants real-world experience and a powerful professional network that extends beyond borders.
Selecting the Fellows
The application for the 2025 program closed as of Monday, May 13, 2024 at 12:00 PM EST. Applicants were notified of their status in July/August 2024.
Fifty dynamic fellows have been selected and are preparing to travel to the US. Fellows were selected through an open, merit-based process.
Applicants for the Fall 2025 program had to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- 25-40 years old at the start of the program
- A current citizen and resident of: Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, or Tunisia. Must be living in country.
- Speak fluent English (enough to work full-time in a US fellowship)
- Have at least two years‘ work experience in their field
- Currently employed
- Interest in hosting reciprocal program for Americans in your country
- Have demonstrated strong leadership skills and commitment to community
- Demonstrates initiative, teamwork, and openness
- Those who have not previously traveled on a U.S. government funded program are preferred (within last 3 years.)
