Ons decided to introduce more Tunisian Teens to STEM by continuing the mission of Mrs. Faten Khalfallah, TechWomen 2015.  Ons organized and led the 3rd summer camp for design. Let’s Go Tech Camp took place in Kerkennah Island, Tunisia, from July 2-6, 2018.   Forty  youth (35 Tunisian – 5 VIPs) aged between 12 and 18 years old from Tunisia, USA and Algeria explored the latest trends in tech while developing their soft-skills, learning to work as a team and building projects in STEM.  Ananya Moorthy, US TechGirl 2017  provided virtual help with the Java course.    In an email, Ons said “Well, all the teams finished their work and made it to the closing ceremony and I proudly saw them applying the skills they learned during the camp in delivering a well-planed presentation in which they introduced for us their projects.”   The closing ceremony included eight different projects highlighting the energy impact theme: access to clean and affordable energy.   These projects were applied using the 3D design, Java programming and robotics.

“Many students left the camp with tears and said ” this camp was a very fulfilling experience. we had fun and learned many useful skills, we will never forget this experience”
Ons was interviewed by the media.  Here is a link to the video!
