The Professional Fellows Program (PFP) is sponsored by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and administered by Legacy International with support from partners in the U.S. and North Africa.

Established in 1979, Legacy International is a U.S.-based non-governmental organization dedicated to strengthening the civil society and generating citizen participation worldwide through professional training and internships, training of trainers, citizen exchanges, consultation services, and local projects.
