The Legislative Fellows Program 2009-2011 links legislators from the US and politically minded professionals from Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman.  A 2-year program, it will identify and support social innovators, build capacity in local NGO’s, and strengthen mutual understanding of the political process in the U.S. and Persian Gulf countries.  

The Kyrgyz Women’s Leadership Development is a two-year, multi-phase program designed to positively impact emerging professional women (community leaders, political leaders, educators, and youth workers), and to strengthen grassroots organizations.

Community Connections—“Integrating Physically/Mental Challenged Youth into Society” Professionals of the non profit sector, government officials and others from Crimea Ukraine will gain first hand understanding of how integrated education influences and shapes a society to respect and educate all students.

Peacebuilding- Welcoming Iraqi Youth- will bring together 25 diverse teens from the U.S. and 25 Iraqi youth for a chance to meet, learn about each other’s life and culture, and explore what it means to be a global citizen.  

Summer US Youth Program

Global Youth Village - Since 1979 this dynamic international summer program has trained over 3000 young people from 105 different countries. Summer 2010: Welcoming 50 Iraqi teens, 20 Indonesian youths, teens from across US, Europe, Africa, the Gulf and Central Asia.

indonesia exchange Youth Leadership Program-Indonesia This program offers 20 Indonesians the opportunity to develop friendships, and study democratic practices and citizen participation in both in the United States and in Indonesia.
